Senior BI Developer - Insurance / London Market - SQL

Hybrid working - 2/3 days in offices in the City of London per week and the remainder working remotely

Supporting a fast growing and innovative Lloyd's syndicate, the Senior BI will have a good understanding of the Lloyd's Insurance Market, as essential and excellent SQL Server experience.  This role is focused on maintaining data warehouse systems using for internal and financial reporting.

This is a senior role within the team with the potential to transition into a Manager role in time.

• Leading the design and developing BI solutions, tools, and applications including both cloud and on-premise environments
• Lead ETL development work and sprint cycles
• Take lead in ensuring performance of DWH and reports are optimal and monitor and report from KPI perspective
• Writing and testing requirements, both business and technical
• Collecting, assessing, and processing data from various sources
• Implementing and maintaining database, data warehouses, and data  architecture
• Performing SQL queries and data analysis
• Creating and curating reports and dashboards and master data
• Collaboration with all internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their demands and the wider needs of the business 

• Good grasp of the Lloyd's Insurance Market
• Excellent SQL coding skills
• Full understanding of technical requirements and concepts needed to implement changes specified
• Capable of leading projects and implementations identifying who and what is required to achieve deadlines
